Carnival Dream has a nightmare

The Carnival Dream cruise ship is stuck in St. Maarten in the Caribbean, Thursday, following a problem with the ship’s generator.

This incident comes just a month after Carnival passengers spent nearly five days trapped on the disabled Carnival Triumph liner in the Gulf of Mexico.

CNN reported that passengers aboard the Carnival Dream had cwere complaining of power outages and overflowing toilets – the same kind of issues faced by passengers on the Carnival Triumph.

The cruise ship, which has a capacity of 3,646 passengers and 1,367 crew members, is docked at Phillipsburg, St. Maarten. We are tracking the Carnival Dream vessel live here on



We understand that passengers are not currently allowed to leave the ship. It is not yet know how long the vessel will be stuck in port for.
