The container ship Hanjin Geneva has been safely refloated after running aground in the Prince Rupert Harbour.
According to cbc.ca the incident happened at about 10:30 p.m. PT Tuesday night as the vessel tried to avoid a small fishing boat. The ground that the vessel hit was reported to be soft minimizing any damage to the vessel.
We understand that none of the ship’s crew were hurt in the incident.
