Lifeboats launched as helicopter ditches in the North Sea

A helicopter is reported to have ditched south of the Shetland Isles in the North Sea.

The RNLI lifeboats have been launched after the alarm was raised at around 15:30 local time.

The helicopter is reported to be operated by CHC, a company specialising in providing transport for oil workers.
