The Olympic sailing events get underway today in Weymouth Bay.

Whilst the competitors themselves will not carry AIS equipment we should still see some interesting marine traffic activity.

It is a beautiful morning in Weymouth as preparations are completed for the first event at 11:50 local time.

We’ll be tracking the busy sailing schedule all the way through to Saturday 11th August when the last sailing medal is awarded.
